The BFIS ‘Intro-to-Insurance’ Summer Programmes take place every summer for 2 to 3 weeks.  A total of 16 students, divided into four teams of four, experience in depth the insurance markets in either London, Bermuda, Atlanta or Chicago. These are structured programmes which include meetings, presentations and work shadowing with insurance professionals, and are open to undergraduate students who have completed either their Junior or Senior year of university.

Want to know a bit more about different careers in insurance?

BFIS makes annual presentations to high school and Bermuda College students to show them the great career opportunities in Bermuda’s insurance sector.  Schools Outreach Committee members go out to all high schools to talk to students about careers in insurance, followed by Lunch & Learns for students who want to learn more.
