Meeting a Need
Established by leaders of Bermuda's insurance industry in 1996, BFIS is tasked with ensuring that Bermudian students are provided with opportunities to attain the education and training necessary for careers in Bermuda's insurance industry.
This is being achieved through scholarships, mentoring, internships and career guidance.

End of Summer Networking Party
Several of the new BFIS scholars were meeting their mentors for the first time and from the feedback all throughly enjoyed themselves and took advantage of meeting with BFIS alumni working in insurance, as well as being able to ‘hobnob’ with insurance CEOs and BFIS Trustees. As always with these events, the effort that students put in will pay off not only now but in future years when they are looking for employment.
